The issue
As part of an ambitious business expansion plan, ONDECK needed to overhaul the systems that formed the bedrock of their business - the booking system for sail training and sailing holiday programmes. With worldwide sail related programmes running throughout the year from ONDECK's 6 primary locations, they needed a solution that offered comprehensive programme, event and delegate management capabilities, available both via the telephone and across the internet, and that could be easily used by ONDECK staff and customers alike.

The Solution
Having performed a comprehensive review of the marketplace and undertaken an exhaustive procurement exercise, ONDECK's selection panel, headed by the Principal of the Training Division, Ian Jinks, selected evocos as the platform upon which to build their business expansion plans.

evocos was configured for ONDECK's needs inside of a couple of days and was piloted a week after the procurement decision was made. The new booking system went live on the 1st June 2008. Within the first week of operation over 150 individual and group bookings had been taken.

Ian Jinks explains "The first week of actual live usage by our partners was a great success. The initial success has continued with bookings flowing in and customer feedback has been exceptionally positive. Our staff are buzzing and full of new ideas for programmes that we can offer to customers. evocos has been a huge success and we are absolutely delighted with our choice."
